Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A traffic stop in the area of Naomi Street and Glenoaks Boulevard led to police discovering a “ghost gun” and drugs in the driver’s possession. He was arrested for possession of illegal firearms at 2 a.m. on Dec 12. Ghost guns are defined as unregistered, makeshift firearms, which are often 3D-printed.

Officers were contacted after witnesses observed an argument wherein a man allegedly struck his sister, broke her glasses and shattered her cellphone in the 900 block of Groton Road at 11:11 p.m. on Dec. 14. The woman pressed charges against the man, who was arrested for vandalism and battery.

A man contacted police to report that he was robbed at gunpoint by a man who was selling him Apple products. The man was located by police and arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Dec 18. He was placed on $50,000 bail.
