Suspects Arrested in Burbank, Glendale Home Burglaries

Three suspects were arrested in connection with several residential burglaries in Burbank and Glendale, police said Wednesday.

Glendale Police Department Sgt. Victor Jackson said GPD detectives, along with the assistance of Glendale Police Residential Burglary Task Force personnel, found the three men in Los Angeles, where two of them tried to evade police on foot but were arrested Tuesday afternoon. Detectives identified the suspects as three Los Angeles men in their early 30s.

“This successful operation represents a significant milestone in an ongoing, diligently pursued investigation initiated by the burglary detectives over a month ago,” Jackson said in a statement. “The suspects are connected to residential burglaries in Glendale and are suspected of other burglaries in the region. Witness statements, video surveillance, and advanced technology helped identify the three men.”

All three suspects were booked at the Glendale City Jail. Jackson said one suspect also has a $100,000 warrant out for his arrest for a robbery in Burbank.

“We stand resolute in our duty to protect the sanctity of every home and ensure the peace of mind for all residents,” Glendale Police Chief Manny Cid said in a statement. “We will leverage every available resource at our disposal to confront those that threaten the safety and well-being of Glendale.”

Anyone with information regarding the residential burglaries was urged to call (818) 548-4911.
