The Burroughs High School varsity boys’ basketball team lost at Pasadena 77-57 in a Pacific League game on Dec. 12.
Senior captain Chase Kardosh registered 24 points, junior captain Jagger Topp tallied 19 points and junior Landon Everhart scored 10 points. Meanwhile, junior Elijah Orjuela and sophomore Evan Lanier each chipped in two points.
The Bears (7-3 overall, 1-1 in league) will visit Hoover High in Glendale for a league game on Dec. 21 before competing in the Santa Barbara Tournament, starting with a matchup against Sierra Canyon High of Chatsworth on Dec. 27.
BURBANK
The Bulldogs lost at Arcadia 57-29 in a Pacific League game on Dec. 12. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader.
Burbank lost at Glendale 72-53 in a league game on Dec. 8.
Sophomore Cristopher Ong recorded 14 points, sophomore Anthony Jawiche finished with 13 points and junior captain Kevin Dehbashian tallied 12 points. Junior Kamran Alborzian registered five points, while junior Areg Aslanyan chipped in four points.
The Bulldogs (4-8, 1-2) will visit Crescenta Valley High in La Crescenta for a league game on Dec. 21 at 6:45 p.m. before competing in the St. Francis Holiday Classic, starting with a matchup against St. Bonaventure High of Ventura on Dec. 26.
