A man was arrested after he allegedly started a fire in a planter near an apartment complex intentionally near the 300 block of Pass Avenue a 2:20 a.m. on Aug. 8. He was later located and arrested on arson charges and placed on $50,000 bail.

Police stopped a female driver for vehicle code violations near Hollywood Way and Oak Street at about 2:25 a.m. on Aug 10. Further investigation led to the driver and passenger being arrested for ID theft, drugs, drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, and possession of stolen property.

Ten subjects allegedly walked into Pavilion’s on Reese Boulevard and Olive Avenue at about midnight on Aug. 13. Witnesses told responding officers that the suspects ran out as a group carrying multiple liquor bottles in their hands without paying for them. Four subjects were caught by police and arrested for felony theft.
