An assault occurred in the alley of Olive Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard at 4:45 p.m. on July 28. The victim was allegedly struck by a large, metal-linked chain, and suffered injuries. A suspect was arrested in the case and was placed on $30,000 bail.

Police were called to the scene of a domestic violence incident after a man allegedly pushed a woman into his vehicle at 11:23 p.m. on July 25. Witnesses of the event contacted police, who were able to apprehend the suspect. He was placed on $20,000 bail.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near Olive Avenue and Verdugo Boulevard at 3:36 p.m. on July 31 for vehicle code violations. The driver allegedly admitted that he had a firearm in the vehicle. A police search of the vehicle revealed a loaded rifle and extended magazines. The man was arrested on weapons charges and placed on $10,000 bail.
