Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Officers arrested a man after he allegedly brandished a knife toward an employee exiting the Olive Park Recreation Center near Burbank Boulevard and Mariposa Street at noon on June 12. Witnesses told police that the alleged offender was less than 4 feet away from the victim during the incident. He was arrested and booked on deadly weapons charges and was placed on $30,000 bail.

Officers responded to a Rite Aid store near Magnolia Boulevard and Hollywood Way regarding a robbery that allegedly took place at 5:30 p.m. on June 10. A male suspect was detained on the scene, and store merchandise was recovered. He was booked on robbery charges and placed on $50,000 bail.

A man was arrested after he allegedly vandalized his mother’s house in the 1300 block of Frederic Street at about 5:15 p.m. on June 7 while under the influence of meth. The mother requested that responding officers arrest the suspect on vandalism charges. Officers searched the man and located suspected meth in his pocket. He was booked and placed on $20,000 bail.
