Officers conducted a traffic stop on March 28 that led to the arrest of two men near Buena Vista Street and Victory Boulevard. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm. The driver was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The passenger was arrested for a no bail warrant and possession of an illegal firearm. They were both placed on $35,000 bail.

Officers were contacted after witnesses observed a man allegedly punch a 69-year-old woman on the side of the head on the 1900 block of Grismer Street on March 31. The man was arrested for elder abuse and booked at the BPD jail. He was placed on $25,000 bail.

Officers responded regarding a man down in a vehicle on April 4 near Bethany Street and Third Street. The man was found unresponsive inside of the vehicle stopped partially in the roadway. He was determined to be driving under the influence of marijuana and placed under arrest for driving under the influence of drugs. He was placed on $5,000 bail.
