Metrolink Train Strikes Vehicle

cvr-train — Metrolink Train 117 bound for Ventura County struck a vehicle on the tracks near Sonora Avenue and San Fernando Road on Tuesday in Glendale. The vehicle appeared to have been forced off the tracks and into a chain link fence. There was no immediate word on the condition of the driver or passengers who may have been inside the vehicle when it was struck, or if any injuries occurred on the train. - Photo courtesy Neil Jones and Amanda Jones
