Season Ends for Burbank, Burroughs

The Burbank High School varsity boys’ soccer team lost a Pacific League game at Glendale, 3-0, on Tuesday. The Bulldogs previously blanked visiting Hoover High of Glendale in a league matchup, 2-0. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader.
Fourth-place Burbank (9-7-3 overall, 5-5-3 in league) recently visited Burroughs High for its regular-season finale; the game ended after the Burbank Leader’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.

The Bears were shut out at Arcadia, 7-0, in a Pacific League game on Tuesday.
JBHS previously lost a league matchup against visiting Pasadena, 4-3, as senior Daniel Proano, junior Jason Mejia and sophomore Alex Loera each scored once.
Sixth-place Burroughs (7-9-3 overall, 3-7-3 in league) recently hosted Burbank for its regular-season finale; the game ended after the Burbank Leader’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
