Bears, Bulldogs Fall in League Games

The Burroughs High School varsity girls’ soccer team narrowly lost a Pacific League game at Crescenta Valley, 2-1, on Tuesday.
Senior Kiele Torrance opened the scoring with a goal in the first half but CVHS rallied in the second half to win the match in the final minutes.
The Bears (7-3 overall, 4-1 in league) will continue league action at Arcadia on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 3:30 p.m.


Burbank High School sophomore Savannah Brown and the Bulldogs were defeated by Pasadena recently.

The Bulldogs were shut out in a Pacific League game at Pasadena, 4-0, on Tuesday. Burbank (2-6 overall, 1-4 in league) will visit Glendale for a league game on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 3:30 p.m.
