Burbank, Burroughs Compete in Nonleague Action

The Burbank High School varsity girls’ water polo team competed in the Holiday in the Hills Tournament last weekend and finished with a 2-2 record.
The Bulldogs collected wins against Diamond Bar, 14-6, and Alhambra, 21-1, but lost to Upland, 9-6, and Charter Oak High of Covina, 16-9. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader.
Burbank (6-6 overall) will open Pacific League action at Hoover High in Glendale on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 3:30 p.m.

BURROUGHS

The Bears defeated host South Pasadena, 11-7, in a nonleague game last Thursday. Individual statistics were not reported to the Burbank Leader.
JBHS (6-5 overall) will open Pacific League action by hosting Arcadia on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 3:30 p.m.
