Burbank Library Opens Tax Preparation Services

The Friends of the Library’s annual service to offer local residents tax return preparation advice and help has arrived.

The Tax Preparation Services, a fundraiser for the library, is now open for appointment scheduling. To schedule for an appointment between 9 a.m. and noon, call (818) 814-3933 and follow these instructions: Leave a message, clearly identify your name, spell your first and last name, and leave your area code and phone number. Your call with be quickly returned.

For the appointment, fill in the tax organizer forms or pick up a paper copy at any Burbank Library. Make sure to bring the forms with all tax documents to the appointment.

Tax returns are prepared by a licensed enrolled agent and are strictly confidential.

There is a minimum fee of $25, but the total fee charged will depend on the type of return prepared. For more information or to download the tax organizer forms, visit the library website at burbanklibrary.org/sites.

The Friends of the Burbank Public Library is a volunteer nonprofit organization that promotes books and services of the library to the Burbank community.
