The Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter will hold a daylong fundraiser on June 13 at Barragan’s restaurant, 730 N. Victory Blvd., to kick off the VBAS 30th anniversary celebration.
Barragan’s will donate 20% of every guest check when the patron mentions the VBAS fundraiser.
As part of the celebration, VBAS will have an informational tent stationed in the parking lot for the lunch and dinner hours. VBAS volunteers will speak to the public about the fundraiser, VBAS programs and available shelter pets that are in need of a forever home. Volunteers will also hand out animal toys and clothing, and anniversary-themed buttons.
Available dogs from the VBAS Foster program and shelter residents will be making periodic appearances to greet the guests.
