Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A man was arrested on May 27 at 6:45 p.m. after his girlfriend came to the Burbank Police Department’s front counter and told personnel that she was running away from her boyfriend. The man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, DUI and assault on a police officer.

A suspect confronted the victim, who was wearing a head cover, and told her to go back to her own country. The suspect then lifted her skirt, exposing herself to the victim and the victim’s 7-year-old son near East Avenue and Amherst Drive. The victim signed a citizen arrest for the suspect and the suspect was booked into Burbank City Jail on May 26 at 5:52 p.m. on suspicion of a hate crime, disturbing the peace and battery.

Police arrested a suspect who allegedly stole over $1,000 worth of merchandise from Ulta Beauty near Shelton Street and Alameda Avenue on May 25 at 4:48 a.m.
