On May 17 police arrested a man around 4 a.m. near Olive Avenue and Hood Avenue. The man was allegedly involved in an armed robbery in which five suspects driving a black Toyota Corolla stole a victim’s watch at gunpoint.

Police arrested a man at 6:40 a.m. on May 16. The man allegedly demanded money from a cashier, who police said feared for her life. The suspect was found in the 2000 block of Hollywood Way.
