The 2022 AME Institute is a four-day, live professional event designed to provide Arts, Media, and Entertainment professionals, educators, and policy makers the experiences, resources, information, and training that helps to ensure California’s next generation of AME workforce is prepared for their future.

The Arts, Media, & Entertainment Industry Sector (AME) ranks among the top three revenue generating industries in the state of California and employs more than 2.5 million people. A top priority for the California Department of Education (CDE) is ensuring the next generation AME workforce is prepared to meet and exceed projected industry needs. The AME Institute (AMEI) is the largest annual professional convening of AME educators and industry professionals in the state. In fact, it is the only professional learning event dedicated solely to AME Career Technical Education (CTE) in the country. The 8th annual AMEI will take place in Burbank, CA – “The Media Capital of the World” June 20-23, 2022 and will welcome more than 400 educators, administrators, industry leaders, tech innovators, and funders to meet in person for the first time since the start of the pandemic.  Attendees will have exclusive experiences through workshops, panel discussions, networking events, and more with companies including (but not limited to) Warner Bros. Discovery, Walt Disney Studios, Nickelodeon, Adobe, Epic Games, Dolby and many, many more!
