Summer Reading Kickoff Party with Burbank Public Library

All ages are welcome to Burbank Public Library’s first celebration of summer!  

Help us kick off the official start of Summer Reading on Thursday, June 1 in the park outside of the Buena Vista Branch Library! Join us for activities, prizes, popsicles, and a live musical performance by the The Jazz Cartel. Festivities start at 6:00 pm, and The Jazz Cartel starts jamming at 7:00 pm.

The Jazz Cartel is a nine-piece Frank Sinatra-style swing band. Their repertoire includes fully arranged original music and beloved standards from the Frank Sinatra catalog as well as the American Songbook. 

Bring a blanket or chairs and join us for a fun, musical summer celebration!
