Gary Eugene Clark passed away quietly at home on April 22, 2022, just three weeks shy of his 87th birthday.
Delivered by a midwife in Ohio on May 9th, 1935, Gary and his younger brother Lanny grew up in a rural part of Ohio, near Lorain Ohio.
He met his future wife, Vera, while attending Clearview High School. The pair married in 1955. Upon graduation from college, Gary accepted a job offer and they moved to California.
The couple raised four children together, while living in Burbank, California, for close to 60 years. Gary coached Ponytail softball, was a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club and attended Village Christian Church.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Lea Ann Prestia. He is survived by his wife Vera, daughters Shelley and Cindy, his son Randy and brother Lanny. He was a loving grandfather to Matt, Krysta, Rachael and Olivia.
