Loved by everyone who knew her, Doris Ann (Sandborg) Palmer passed away peacefully in her Burbank home at the age of 98 years old.
Doris dedicated her time and energy to helping others in Burbank and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles as an active leader and member of her church and numerous local groups. She worked as a volunteer with the Hollywood Bowl, La Providencia Guild, La Cadena Women’s Club, Burbank Coordinating Council and PTAs for Edison, Luther Burbank and Burroughs.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Palmer and son, David Palmer. She is survived by daughter Melinda (Palmer) Gray, granddaughter Jessica (Palmer) Simo and great-granddaughter Ella Simo.
