Burbank High School’s Class of 2023 reached the end of their high school career with hundreds of attendees cheering them on at Memorial Field for the May 26 graduation ceremony.
More than 500 of the graduates gathered on the field and took the stage in front of their loved ones to accept their high school diplomas — a milestone they will likely look back on fondly.
Students like ASB President Serineh Ter-Petrossyan, valedictorian Sungjoo Yoon and senior speaker Alana Khalil were introduced and gave their inspiring speeches. Afterward, Assistant Principal Chris Pepes offered the students wholesome advice on taking their next steps in life, and Principal Julie Markussen congratulated the Class of 2023 and all of their hard work that got them there.
