Burbank Police Department Crime Log

Police received a call at 6 p.m. on May 17 regarding a man allegedly behaving in an aggressive manner and harassing pedestrians at a bus stop in the 1000 block of North Hollywood Way. Officers arrived and the man fled on foot, running into traffic. Officers caught up to the man and took him into custody. Once the man was apprehended, police were flagged down by Target employees who reported that the man stole alcohol from the store earlier that day. He was arrested for petty theft and public intoxication.

A man and woman were arrested at Walmart on North Victory Place after they allegedly sprayed a loss prevention officer with pepper spray as they were stealing items. Both parties were located at 8:30 p.m. on May 19, and were booked for robbery, narcotics, paraphernalia and forgery. They were placed on $50,000 bail each.

A man was arrested for public intoxication and weapons charges near Olive Avenue and Lake Street after he allegedly brandished two knives at victim in a threatening manner. He was booked at 7:15 p.m. on May 22 and placed on $25,000 bail.
