Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School PTA recently hosted the 2023 DEI Spring Festival, where students, parents, families and some school staff members enjoyed visiting the many decorated booths showcasing various countries and diversity, equity and inclusion themes.
Attendees were given passports that were stamped at every booth they visited. Festivities included tastings of foods from around the world, as well as Irish step dancing, a drum circle activity, lion dancing, a double Dutch presentation, an electric slide group dance party, arts and crafts, and cultural music.
