City Council Wins MarCom Award

The Burbank City Council was presented with the 2022 MarCom Platinum Award on Tuesday, Feb. 14, beating out 6,600 other applicants for the internationally recognized communications and marketing award. The award, which was given to only one winner, recognized Burbank’s success in the 2021 Chow Down Restaurant Campaign, a city-funded, 90-day digital campaign designed to help restaurants recover from the COVID-19 pandemic by informing the community of various take-out options, outdoor accommodations and a selection of restaurants to explore. – Photo courtesy city of Burbank
