The Sand Castle Preschool offers a five-day program with full-day schedules for children 2 to 4 years old.

The Sand Castle Preschool’s curriculum incorporates a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities including but not limited to exercise classes, games, circle time, art, Spanish and sign language, story time and lessons in language arts, math, science, social studies and geography, as well as exposure to educational videos and computer programs.
The Sand Castle uses Color Me Smart curriculum to encourage fine-motor development and to introduce foundational skills in language arts, mathematics and science. There are also teacher-directed activities that provide learning through discovery and creativity.
The Sand Castle Preschool is located on the site of the former Foothill Intermediate School at 4490 Cornishon Ave., at the corner of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge.
