Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A man in the middle of the street tried to open the door of a fire truck which was sitting at a traffic signal at Third Street and Magnolia Avenue at 7:15 on Nov. 3. The man displayed obvious signs of intoxication and was booked in Burbank jail for public intoxication. He was placed on $250 bail.

A kidnapping occurred at a residence on the 1800 block of Scott Road at 7:40 p.m. on Nov. 4. A man entered the home by forcing a sliding window open. He was seen carrying his two children out of the residence into his vehicle. He was arrested for burglary, kidnapping, and criminal threats and was placed on $150,000 bail.

A man and woman were involved in a verbal argument at an unknown Burbank address at 5:27 p.m. on Nov. 5. The female driver punched the man in the face and purposely drove her car head on into a wrought iron gate. She was arrested for domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, drunk driving and vandalism. She was placed on $50,000 bail.

A male transient attacked an older female transient by hitting her head against the advertisement side of a bus stop at an unknown Burbank location at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 6. He was subsequently arrested for assault and placed on $50,000 bail.
