Burbank Police Department Crime Log

A parking enforcement officer was the victim of a hit-and-run at 200 N. Evergreen St. at 10 a.m. on Aug. 30. While the officer was in the process of impounding a vehicle, a woman entered the vehicle and drove away from the scene. As the woman drove away, she hit the officer with the vehicle. The suspect was later located near the area seated in the driver’s seat. She was arrested and placed on $50,000 bail.


A traffic stop for vehicle code violations at the intersection of North Pass Avenue and West Magnolia Boulevard resulted in the arrest of two men for conspiracy to sell firearms. Both were booked at 2:20 a.m. on Sept. 1.

Citizen flagged down officers regarding theft on the 1300 block of North Victory Place allegedly perpetrated by two women on Aug. 31 at 8 a.m. The women were detained, and officers learned that both had outstanding arrest warrants. While booking the women at the BPD jail, one brought narcotics into the jail and was additionally charged with possession of narcotics. They were each placed on $25,000 bail.

Officers responded to a call of road rage at the intersection of Adornos Way and N. Lamer Street on Sept. 2 at 1 p.m. where a man pulled a firearm on a victim. Officers located the suspect’s vehicle and detained him pending investigation. The suspect was arrested for brandishing a firearm and outstanding warrants and was placed on $25,000 bail.

A man was reportedly causing a disturbance in the downtown area, possibly chasing after people walking on the sidewalk near Orange Grove Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard. Officers arrived and determined the man was under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested at 7 p.m. on Sept. 3 and placed on $2,500 bail.

Officers received calls regarding two males fighting at Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission. Each man refused admitting to battery against the other. One man had a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s warrant for trespassing and vandalism, and an Orange County Sheriff’s warrant for burglary. The man was arrested and booked for his warrants at about 2 p.m. on Sept. 5 and placed on $5,000 bail.

While on patrol around 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 4, officers located a stolen vehicle and detained two subjects in the area related to the stolen vehicle near Alameda Avenue and Victory Boulevard. One subject was subsequently arrested for being in possession of the stolen vehicle and placed on $20,000 bail.
