A 31-year-old male handyman was arrested in the Empire Center in front of Walmart this past Saturday, July 23, at around 7 a.m. The man was found to be in possession of a switchblade knife, illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools. He was subsequently booked, and his bail was set at $1,000.

A 25-year-old male security guard was arrested at Ralph Foy Park in possession of methamphetamine and additional drug paraphernalia and materials this past Saturday, July 23, at around 4:30 p.m. The man was also found to be in possession of an open alcohol container. He was booked 45 minutes later, and his bail was set at $1,000.


A 38-year-old King City man, who works as a retail manager, was stopped by Burbank Police Department officers this past Saturday at around 6:30 p.m. after he was stopped pending a weapons violation. He was arrested on five charges including commercial burglary, identity theft and narcotics. He was booked and his bail is set at $50,000.


An 18-year-old Burbank man was arrested this past Sunday, July 24, at around 1:15 a.m. after officials observed a vehicle running a red light at 55 mph in a 35-mph speed-limit zone. The driver reportedly displayed objective signs of alcohol intoxication and was deemed by officers to be unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. He was booked with a bail of $5,000.


A 41-year-old Sun Valley man was arrested this past Sunday, July 24, at 2:40 p.m. on suspicion of entering a female victim’s locked vehicle and stealing her property. The man was booked on burglary charges as well as multiple drug-related charges. No bail has been set.
