Burbank High School Sends Off Its Senior Class

Burbank High School recently welcomed students, parents, friends, faculty and staff to Memorial Field to celebrate the 588 members of the senior Class of 2022 at the annual commencement ceremony on Friday.

Brian James, the assistant principal of athletics and activities, gave the welcome address, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance by Associated Student Body President Shushanna Ter-Petrossyan and the national anthem performed by pianist Grigorian Balasanyan.

Rachel Tomasek was the senior speaker, followed by James’ announcement of the Valedictorian’s speech by Vana Matevosian. Megan Barfian gave the salutatorian’s speech, while Burbank Unified School District Superintendent Matt Hill presented the graduating class.
