International Film Festival to Hold Gala May 7

The Burbank International Film Festival (BIFF), a nonprofit organization, recently announced its upcoming fundraising event “Kentucky Derby/Mother’s Day Gala” scheduled for Saturday, May 7, from 1-6 p.m.

The celebration will include celebrity attendees such as Kelly Stables of “Superstore” and “Two And A Half Men,” and Brian Thomas Smith of “United States of Al” and “The Big Bang Theory.”

The event will also have a best hat and bowtie contest and a silent auction.

Current ticket packages are available until May 5. Single ticket are $125 and a “Mom Package” is $187.50, which includes one single ticket and a half-price ticket for a mother. Ticket costs are tax-deductible. Tickets may be purchased on itsmyseat.com/BIFF.

To fund the festival events, BIFF hosts a select number of fundraisers during the year in preparation for the annual film festival held this year Sept. 8-11.

BIFF welcomes thousands of attendees who view more than 50 hours of programming at Burbank’s AMC 16 Theaters and the Awards Show at the Burbank Marriott Convention Center.

The Burbank International Film Festival is in its 14th year and growing in popularity.
