Reducing Lanes on Olive Would Lead to Gridlock

First published in the April 9 print issue of the Burbank Leader.

On Tuesday, April 12, the Burbank City Council will receive the Final Environmental Impact Report from the Metro Transit Authority regarding the closure of lanes on Olive Avenue.

It is important to let the council know that you oppose this plan, which is projected to take away one lane each way from Buena Vista to Glenoaks, reducing Olive from two lanes each way to one. Imagine the gridlock and congestion.

Let the council know by sending them a message to citycouncil@burbankca.gov of your strong opposition to this Bus Rapid Transit plan.
